Amana Weldach




Amana kids was established to help eliminate some of the deprivations orphan children face in and around Harar. In 1995 we reached out to five kids. Today, we have reached 21 children ranging from kindergarten to seventh Grade. Their ages range between 3 and 15 with complete gender equality. Amana will add an additional 5 to10 kids annually until the future goal of 500 kids is reached.

Addis Ababa, October 30 (WIC) The Harari State Agriculture Bureau said over 216,000 quintals of agricultural output is expected to be collected this Meher season. Bureau Head, Hamza Mohammed said the output will be reaped from 11,000 hectares of land covered with sorghum, maize, wheat and other food grains.
