ቀደም ሲል በሀገራችን የነበሩ ፀረ-ዴሞክራሲያዊ አገዛዝ ስርአቶች በህዝቦች እኩልነትና መፈቃቀድ ላይ የተመሰረተ አንድነት ሳይሆን በግዛት አንድነት ላይ የተመሰረተ ሀገር ለመገንባት በተከተሉት የተሳሳተ ፖሊሲ ምክኒያት አጠቃላይ የሀገራችን ህዝቦች በተለይም የሐረሪ ህዝብ ለአስከፊ ብሄራዊ ጭቆና፤ለመብት ረገጣና አፈና፤ለኢኮኖሚ ምዝበራ ከመጋለጡም በተጨማሪ ለእስራት፤ለግርፋት፤ለግድያና የብዙ ሺህ ሐረሪዎች እግልትና ስደት ምክኒያት ሆኖዋል። የሰላማችን፤የዴሞክራሲያችንና የፈጣን ልማታችን መሰረት በሆነውና  ባለ ብዙ ብሄሮች፤ብሄረሰቦችና ህዝቦች ፌዴራላዊና ዴሞክራሲያዊ ህገ መንግስታዊ ስርአት የሐረሪ ህዝብ የሉአላዊ የስልጣን ባለቤትነት መብቱ በእኩልነት ተረጋግጦል።

Harar, October 12 (WIC) - The execution of 79 new and existing projects would be carried out in Harari State with over 174 million birr this budget year, according to State’s Finance and Economic Development Bureau.
Bureau Head, Ahmed Abdosh, told WIC today that the projects would be implemented in 6 urban and 3 rural administrations of the state beginning this month.
According to Ahmed, some 49 of the projects are new, while the remaining are projects launched last Ethiopian budget. The projects are mainly focused on education, agriculture, safe water, health, road and urban development, among other.
Upon going fully operational by the coming June, the projects are expected to benefit some 200,000 residents of the state, Ahmed stated.

• Children in this program live in one of four care centers that IAG financially supports, they are located in Addis Ababa, Harar, Dire Dawa and Mekele. The centers keep a 1:6 caregiver to child ratio and have a full time nurse and social worker on staff as well.
• IAG has been licensed in Ethiopia since 2006 and by the end of 2011 will have placed in excess of 350 children. 2010/2011 Trip to Harar

Eyes For Africa visit to Harar succeeded in performed 193 cataract surgeries. Harar - is famous for the way Christians and Muslims have lived in harmony for hundreds of years.’ It’s the only place where you'll find a church and a mosque side by side - it's listed by UNESCO for this reason.
The E.F.A. team treated a range of people from the 95-year-old village woman to the seven-year-old girl who will now be able to attend school for the first time. One of the highlights was the successful treatment of nine-year-old boy with bilateral cataracts. The day following surgery he was asked what he could see. He answered that he could see his mother for the first time!
The seven strong team, were treated with amazing hospitality by both the local government and residents. From touching down at local airport the team received an official welcome and on completion a farewell lunch at the president’s residence. As the Hararian expatriate community is quite strong a widespread throughout the world, the success of this project was reported in Africa, the US and Europe!

Eyes for Africa hope to return again by end 2011.

ሁለት የሐረሪ ተቃዋሚ ፓርቲዎች ግንባር ለመፍጠር ተስማሙ Two Harari political parties reach agreement to form a united front.

የሐረሪ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ድርጅት (ሐዲድ) እና የሐሪሪ ዲሞክራሲያዊ አንድነት ፓርቲ (ሐዲአፓ) የተሰኙ ሁለት በክልሉ የሚንቀሳቀሱ ተቃዋሚ ፓርቲዎች፣ የጋራ ግንባር ለመፍጠር መስማማታቸውን የፓርቲው አመራሮች ለሪፖርተር አስታወቁ፡፡ የሒዲድ የሕዝብ ግንኙነት ኃላፊ ዶ/ር ቶፊቅ ኢድሪስ፣ ሁለቱም ፓርቲዎች ተመሳሳይ የፖለቲካ ፕሮግራም ያላቸው በመሆኑ፣ ግንባር ለመፍጠርና በጋራ ለመንቀሳቀስ መስማማታቸውን ተናግረዋል፡፡

እንደ እሳቸው ገለጻ፣ በምርጫ 2002 ፓርቲዎቹ ጊዜያዊ ስምምነት ፈጥረው በጋራ የምርጫ ቅስቀሳ አድርገው የነበረ ቢሆንም፣ መሠረታዊ ለውጥ ሊያመጡ የሚችሉት የፖለቲካ አቋማቸውን አዋህደው አባሎቻቸውን በጋራ ማንቀሳቀስ ሲችሉ መሆኑን በሁለቱም የፖለቲካ ፓርቲዎች አመራሮች ታምኖበታል፡፡

በዚህ መሠረት የፓርቲዎቹን መጣመር ዝርዝር ጉዳዮች የሚያጠና የጋራ የቴክኒክ ኮሚቴ ተቋቁሞ ጥናት በማድረግ ውጤቱን ለፓርቲዎቹ ማስረከቡን ፓርቲዎቹ ገልጸዋል፡፡ በቅርቡ እውን ይሆናል ያሉትን ግንባር ስያሜና ማህተም ከምርጫ ቦርድ ለማግኘት በዝግጅት ላይ እንደሚገኙ አስረድተዋል፡፡

ፓርቲዎቹ በአብዮታዊ ዲሞክራሲ የሚያምኑ ቢሆንም፣ የኢሕአዴግ አጋር የሆነው የሐረሪ ብሔራዊ ሊግ በክልሉ አስፈላጊውን ለውጥ ባለማምጣቱ፣ የሕዝቡን ማንነትም በአግባቡ እየተጠበቀ አይደለም በማለት እንደሚቃወሙት ሁለቱም ፓርቲዎች ገልጸዋል፡፡
