ከአዲስ አበባ ከተማ በስተ ምሥራቅ 527 ኪሎ ሜትር ርቀት ላይ የምትገኘው የሐረር ከተማ በሐረሪዎች የታነጹ ባሕላዊ ቤቶች ይገኙባታል፡፡ እያንዳንዳቸውም የሐረሪዎችን ታሪክ፣ ባሕል፣ ወግ የሚተርኩ ናቸው፡፡ በከተማዋ አንድ ክፍል የሚገኘው ጁገል ለየት ያሉ ጥንታዊ ሕንፃዎች የተሰባሰቡበት ነው፡፡

"ሐረር-ጁገል የከተማ ባሕል መፍለቂያ" በሚል ርእስ ታሪካዊ ድርሳን የጻፉት መፍቱሀ ዘከሪያ እንደጠቀሱት፣ የሐረር ጌይ ነዋሪዎች - መኖሪያ ቤታቸው በዓይነቱ ይለያሉ፡፡ ሐረር ጌይን ቆርቁረው ለዕድገት ያበቁ ደግሞ ሐረሪዎች ናቸው፡፡ የሐረሪዎች ባሕላዊ መኖሪያቸው ጌይ ጋር ተብሎ ይጠራል ይላሉ፡፡

Addis Ababa, March 3 (WIC) – The European Union (EU) approved more than 20 million euro to provide further support for the implementation of the Productive Safety Net Programme (PSNP) of Ethiopia.
